How to Use the POS Materials Module
POS Materials Module
🎯 Objective
The Point of Sale Materials module delivers a dynamic solution for managing Point of Sale Material by enhancing visibility into material availability and condition. The POSM Module streamlines material management, allowing users to efficiently track, add, and audit materials while ensuring their quality and readiness for impactful promotions.
📘 Instructions
Step 1: Enable the Module
Ensure the POSM module is enabled in the Access Rights.
Next, provide access to admins and field reps’ accounts to the module from Access Rights > Groups.
Portal Level: Enable for admins.
Mobile App Level: Enable for field reps.
Step 2: Configure the Module
Go to the Merchandiser page, click on the POS Materials tab in the left-hand menu to reveal the sub-menu, and click Setup.
Setup the Activation Type:
Click on the + button.
Fill in the required details.
Examples are New Product Promo, Seasonal Promo, etc.
Setup the Material Type:
Click on the + button.
Fill in the required details.
Examples are Floor Stickers, Window Clings, etc.
Setup the Reasons:
Click on the + button.
Fill in the required details.
Examples are Perfect Condition, worn, broken, etc.
Define the Activation:
Navigate to the Allocations tab under the POS Material section and click on Activation.
To add manually:
Click on the + button.
Fill in the required details.
To add in bulk:
Click on the upload button.
Select Add.
Download the template.
Fill in the required information.
Upload the file.
Select Add Missing Data if you’re adding additional items or Replace All if you need to delete all previously uploaded items and add the new ones from the uploaded sheet.
Update the uploaded items manually:
Click on the Edit icon next to the created item.
Update the information.
Update the uploaded items in bulk:
Click on the upload button.
Select Update.
Download the template.
Fill in the required information.
Define the Material:
Navigate to the Material tab.
To add manually:
Click on the + button.
Fill in the required details.
To add in bulk:
Click on the upload button.
Select Add.
Download the template.
Fill in the required information.
Upload the file.
Select Add Missing Data if you’re adding additional items or Replace All if you need to delete all previously uploaded items and add the new ones from the uploaded sheet.

Select POSM or Competitor POSM based on whether you are adding a family POSM or a competitor POSM.
Download the template.
Fill in the required information.
Upload the file.

Step 3: Configure the Mobile App
With Prior Branch Allocation
When the POSM module is selected, field reps can view all POSMs assigned to the branch.
Field reps can audit the availability of the POSMs, record their condition, and take photos.
Without Prior Branch Allocation
If POSMs are being recorded for the first time by field reps:
Tap the + icon to add a new POSM.
Field reps can choose to add a regular POSM or a competitor POSM.
Select the relevant details from the dropdown menus.
Add an image, audit the condition, and specify the quantity of the POSM available.
After clicking Submit, field reps can view and edit the entries they added during the same visit.
