How to Use the Price Collection Module

Price Collection Module

🎯 Objective

The Price Collection module simplifies the process of gathering retail prices for SKUs and comparing them with competitor pricing. This ensures businesses stay informed about market trends, identify pricing gaps, and make data-driven adjustments to remain competitive.

Step 4: Configure the Settings (Optional)

  • Click on the Settings page under the Price Collection tab.

  • Enable the settings based on your preference according to the below:

  1. Validate shelf price: Enable this feature to get a real-time comparison on the app between the price added with the shelf price defined in the SKU settings. If the price is out of range, it will trigger a red flag.

  2. Get latest prices: Enable this to allow field reps to validate prices based on their last visit to the same branch.

  3. Display all items: Enable this to display the SKUs set up for price collection in a single list. If disabled, the SKUs will be categorized according to their respective categories.

Step 5: Configure the Mobile App

Upon accessing the Price Collection module, the display will be determined by the settings configured at the portal level.

“Get Latest Prices” Enabled

If the Get Latest Prices setting is enabled, field reps will be able to work with pre-populated data collected during the previous visit to the same branch.

  • Click the checkmark to indicate that the SKU has been found.

    • Prices can only be entered or edited if the SKU is marked with a checkmark.

  • Click the X to indicate that the SKU was not found in-store. This will clear any previously entered data.

  • If neither option is selected, the SKU's price will not be sent to the portal when the visit is submitted.

  • Promo-Price: Field reps can include the price of the SKU if there is a promotion running in this section.

This video also demonstrates how the display appears when the Display All Items setting is enabled.

“Get Latest Prices” Disabled

If the Get Latest Prices setting is disabled, field reps will begin with an empty form, and no data from previous visits will be pre-filled.
